Jill, our main character, wakes up in a hospital with grave injuries and Aphasia. Two beautiful teenage girls who have been best friends from the cradle despite their very opposite personalities and different economic backgrounds travel together to Italy. However, when the mystery slowly turns into a witch hunt, it reminded me of real-life events that have turned out alike in the year 2020, and the storyline really captured my interest. ![]() I even began to regret picking it up during the initial pages. This book by Eileen Cook took me by surprise I half expected it to be another stereotypical drama as the lead characters are two teen girls. ![]() When reading a thriller, you’d expect the mystery solved at the end, right? Well, this is one book where we don’t get the answer, yet somehow in the readers’ moral court, justice has been served. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well I appreciate that! This past spring, you wrote a book of short stories, which is geared toward adults. Gosh, I feel like they really don’t make books like that anymore. And when I got a little older, Shel Silverstein and Roald Dahl. And the simple answer is that I can’t draw, and I wanted to do it all myself. And I thought there was a beautiful, exciting lesson in that, in making words something-which they are, rebellious and a form of freedom-that a kid can learn is on their side whenever they want it to be. The idealistic answer, and it’s true, is that I thought, There’s a really exciting way to show kids that the written word can be their ally and that it’s possible to do something extremely powerful-which is overpower an adult and your experience with them, using only words. Well, I have two answers, and they’re both true. It would be a book that they would hand me that would make me say silly things that I didn’t want to say.Īnd did you ever think that was doable with pictures? Or did you have the very specific idea that you wanted to do it with just words? And one day I just had an idea: I think I know what a kid’s dream book would be to hear. My friends and cousins are starting to have kids and every time I’m around them, I’m always asking them, “What books do you like? What can I read to you?,” hoping to find something funny that I can read them. There’s nothing more satisfying than getting a laugh from a kid, because there’s no such thing as polite laughter, or social laughter. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() With her son’s life hanging in the balance, Emma is dragged into the dark world of drugs, lies, and murder. Yes. TL DR: This is an ultra corny, cheesy sports romance that I wasn’t sure would work for me at the start because of some of the things the MMC was doing/thinking/saying, but Carter’s frantic golden retriever energy really grew on me by the end! This was a pretty angsty romance filled with plenty of drama (including OW drama) and it honestly could’ve been shorter but I had a lot of fun reading it! He’s had everything served to him on a silver platter, including endless strings of women, and apparently, I’m up next. He’s arrogant, self-centered, and the man doesn’t seem to know what a filter is, let alone how to use one. Carter Beckett is the NHL’s resident badboy, top player both on the ice & in the bedroom, and quite possibly the sexiest man to ever grace my field of vision. ![]() ![]() ![]() Just a Bit Twisted (Straight Guys, #1) by Alessandra Hazard – eBook Detailsīefore you start Complete Just a Bit Twisted (Straight Guys, #1) PDF EPUB by Alessandra Hazard Download, you can read below technical ebook details: Shawn finds out that everyone is right. He strikes a deal with Rutledge, but unexpectedly, the deal turns into something so much more.Something all-consuming and addictive.Something neither of them wants.
